A "Charlie's Angel" crew member was promptly fired after groping actress Minka Kelly, TMZ reported.
The man slapped Kelly's butt on the set of the ABC show - a huge offense for the network, which has a zero-tolerance policy on sexual harassment.
Earlier reports that Kelly retaliated by slapping the man are not true, TMZ reported.
Instead, Kelly was quick to scold the crew member, saying: "Please don't ever disrespect me or any other woman like that again."
The worker tried to apologize to Kelly the following day, Star reported.
"It seems like it was meant to be a joke, but clearly it was inappropriate," a source told the gossip site. "Minka was shocked and absolutely irate."
ABC immediately banned the slapper from the show's set, but sources told TMZ that Kelly didn't want him fired, and had no part in the network's decision.
The actress was reportedly friendly with the worker after the incident, and upset he lost his job.
