The protagonist, Gru, is the #2 villain who wants to steal the moon with the help of his large army of genetically altered corn pops and various science fiction gadgets. He attempts this while trying to outsmart his arch-rival, #1 super villain Vector. However, he meets three little orphan girls (Margo, Edith and Agnes) who want him to become their daddy.
