AWAKE’ — “Awake” is an intriguing drama about a detective (Jason Issacs, “Harry Potter,” “Brotherhood”) who finds he is leading an arduous double life that defies reality. When Detective Michael Britten (Issacs) regains consciousness following his family’s car accident, he is told that his wife Hannah (Laura Allen, “Terriers”) perished but that his teen son, Rex (Dylan Minnette, “Saving Grace”), has survived. As he tries to put the pieces of his life back together, he awakens again in a parallel reality in which his wife is very much alive — but his son Rex died in the accident. In order to keep both of his loved ones alive at one time, he begins living two dueling realities in parallel worlds, which churns up confusion — in one moment, Michael and his wife debate about having another child to replace their son, while in the other reality, he is attracted to his son’s tennis coach, Tara (Michaela McManus, “The Vampire Diaries”), to fill the void from the loss of his wife. Trying to regain some normalcy, Michael returns to police work and solves crimes in both worlds with the help of two different partners — Detective Isaiah “Bird” Freeman (Steve Harris, “The Practice”) and Detective Efrem Vega (Wilmer Valderrama, “That ’70s Show”). Also starring are Emmy Award winner Cherry Jones (“24”) and BD Wong (NBC’s “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”) as therapists in each respective world. The series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television. Kyle Killen (“Lone Star”) and Howard Gordon (“24”) are executive producers. David Slade (“Twilight: Eclipse,” “30 Days of Night”) also serves as executive producer and directed the pilot written by Killen.

Izgleda jako zanimljivo, šteta što je tek u midseasonu. 

ER vet and three-time Emmy nominee Laura Innes has landed a major recurring role on Awake, one of NBC’s two buzzy midseason dramas, TVLine has learned exclusively. Innes will also direct one or two episodes of the ambitious series.

Awake stars Jason Isaacs (Brotherhood) as Michael Britten, a police detective who in the wake of a tragic car accident finds himself toggling between two realities — one in which his wife (Terriers‘ Laura Allen) died in the crash, and another in which their teenage son (Lost‘s Dylan Minnette) instead perished.

Innes will play Captain Tricia Harper, Michael’s “walk softly and carry a big stick”-style superior at the PD. A former detective herself, she is described as smart and compassionate — especially when it comes to having concerns about the mourning Michael’s well-being.

Whether Harper is Michael’s boss in the “red” reality, where his wife is alive, and/or the “green” one is being kept under wraps for now. (Some of the show’s characters occupy slightly different roles, or are absent altogether, from reality to reality. For example, 24‘s Cherry Jones is Michael’s shrink on one “side,” while SVU‘s B.D. Wong handles that responsibility on the other.)

In addition to her 12-year run as ER‘s Dr. Kerry Weaver, Innes’ TV credits include, most recently, NBC’s The Event, plus Wings and The Louie Show.

Bilo bi super kad bi VEĆ u siječnju krenulo Teoretski može krenut i u travnju No dobro, u kakvim je govnima NBC, pretpostavljam da će SVE preostale nove serije izbacit do početka February sweepsa

Zapravo, još uvijek se ne zna kad kreće.

Meni je to bila najžešća rečenica u cijeloj epizodi.


Dobra je serija, ispočetka mi se činila onako blah, jer sam skoro sve već vidio u traileru,
al prema kraju je baš dobro ispala. Mislim da im fali malo više dobre glazbene podloge.


Fascinantna je ideja. I to zabrinjavanje njegovom mentalnom ne/stabilnošću.
Kao ono, ja sam dobro, ja sam dobro, al kad ne vidim bilo ženu, bilo sina počet ću se rezat.
To je bilo WTF.




Meni je bad što komentari na traileru već predviđaju kako će sve to završit, i bojim se da imaju smisla i da će kraj bit predvidljiv. 

Pilot je meni samo potvrdio da imamo potencijalno odličnu seriju Mene samo zabrinjava kako će to sve izgledat u nadolazećim epizodama... Da se ne bi ponovila situacija sa Smashom

Pojavio se i u zadnjoj epizodi Are You There, Chelsea? i pre dve epizode Suburgatory!!!

Gledaj. Sjajna serija, mislim da će sigurno odemitirati bar tih 13 epizoda...

Meni je isto super pilot bio...nadam se da serija nece otici u nekom krivom smjeru 

meni je epizoda vecim dijelom bila dosadna. mozda pogledam sljedecu, ako se ne poprave vise ne gledam.

taj lik izgleda kao dosta stabilna osoba, al njega će ti njegovi psihijatri izludit. 


znam da mene već izluđuju 


I dobro u kojoj stvarnosti mu je šefica Weaverica, jel u onoj u kojoj mu je mrtav sin ili žena?


p.s. baš sam gledao odakle mi je poznat njegov sin, a kad ono glumio je Jackovog sina u LOST-u.

Iako mi nije lose i glavni lik mi je bas nekako cool,ipak zasad odustajem od ovoga. Vracaju se Mad Men i GoT,a pocinju Veep i Girls, tako da nesto otpasti mora, a ovo (uz Touch) je najslabija karika u mom rasporedu 

evo, njih 2 zajedno sa pingvinom. ako ste mislili da serija ne može bit čudnija.
