The Cape

"The Cape" is a one-hour drama series starring David Lyons ("ER") as Vince Faraday, an honest cop on a corrupt police force, who finds himself framed for a series of murders and presumed dead.  He is forced into hiding, leaving behind his wife, Dana (Jennifer Ferrin, "Life on Mars") and son, Trip (Ryan Wynott, "Flash Forward").  Fueled by a desire to reunite with his family and to battle the criminal forces that have overtaken Palm City, Faraday becomes "The Cape" his son's favorite comic book superhero -- and takes the law into his own hands.  Rounding out the cast are James Frain ("The Tudors") as billionaire Peter Fleming - The Cape's nemesis - who moonlights as the twisted killer: Chess; Keith David ("Death at a Funeral") as Max Malini, the ringleader of a circus gang of bank robbers who mentors Vince Faraday and trains him to be The Cape; Summer Glau ("Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles") as Orwell, an investigative blogger who wages war on crime and corruption in Palm City; and Dorian Missick ("Six Degrees") as Marty Voyt, a former police detective and friend to Faraday.

Pretpostavljam da je ono što se vidi u sneak peeku njihova verzija Spidermanovog ugriza ili Batmanovog pada u špilju - postanak superheroja? :D

My guess - svi će vjerojatno mislit da je poginuo u eksploziji, pa će on postat taj superjunak :D

Anyway, ne izgleda loše :top:


EDIT: Sad sam se sjetio da bi mogao pročitat sinopsis kojeg sam JA postao :lol: I sad vidim da sam pogodio :D Oko njegove smrti, jel :zubo:

iskreno dok nijesam pogledao trailer ovo mi je djelovalo bzv. ovako...cak mozda i ne bude lose.

Exclu: British tough guy Vinnie Jones has joined NBC's "The Cape" as a series regular.

A veteran of Guy Ritchie's "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" and "Snatch," along with "Year One" and "X-Men: The Last Stand," Jones will play a powerful criminal on the midseason NBC drama.

Jones will be Scales, a frightening man with a freakish skin condition that gives him the appearance of green and gold scales. The casting marks his first regular TV role.

Repped by APA and Elevate Entertainment, Jones joins previously cast regulars David Lyons, Keith David and Summer Glau.

"The Cape" is about a cop framed for murder and presumed dead who assumes the identity of his son's favorite comic book hero while waging war against those who wronged him.

Ja mislim da ta serija ne može biti neki veliki hit... Mislim da će bit kao Chuck - imat će ogromnu fan bazu, ali će konstantno biti on the bubble jer će imati zabrinavajuću gledanost :ne zna:

maskirani osvetnik u plaštu
ko uopće daje zeleno svjetlo takvom smecu
imaju li ti ljudi mozga  :rolleyes:

volim akciju, al jedina akcijska serija koja je valjala (nije da je bila čista akcija) je Prison Break
jest da se kasnije razvodnila, al prve dvije sezone su bile super

dok sve ove nove serije propadnu i prije pola sezone prikazane

Oni su sa tom serijom samo stvorili Chucka 2.0, i dobit će hrpetinu nabrijanih fanova osrednje serije koji se bune protiv mreže i moljakaju za 2. sezonu jer je gledanost katastrofa :facepalm:


(BTW, ne mislim da je Chuck osrednja serija, iako bi se to dalo iščitat iz mog komentara :D )

Klasični superhero story :D Kao trashy verzija Nolanovog Batmana :rofl: Vraća me u one dane kad sam slinio za SpiderManom i crtanim koji je išao na onom FOX Kids prije 7-8 godina :roflmao:
